A first for the Belgian offshore powerboat racing championship, the second round of which is in Ostend next weekend. Julie Labeeuw (35) from Kortrijk is the only female copilot in Belgium and cousin Quentin Deraedt (17) from Bruges is the youngest pilot in Europe in his classification. “People come up to me and often say, 'Alé child, that you dare that'”, Julie smiles.
